This blueberry, banana, coconut tropical smoothie is my one of my favorite breakfast morning smoothies on a hot day. This so wonderfully easy to make, you simply throw everything together in a blender and two minutes later you have the healthiest on-the-go breakfast. All the vitamins, of which are very important for your healthy functioning body. Coconut has protein that helps strengthen the bones, and banana has a high level of magnesium for energy production, nerve function and blood pressure regulation. Of course, blueberries are considered to have the highest number of antioxidants, which neutralizes free radicals in your body.
I run the blender on slow for this one, so there is a chunkiness to the icy parts. I used water with this one to ensure creaminess even though the banana keeps it smooth.
1 banana sliced
1/2 cup Tropical Mixed Fruit
3/4 cup blueberries
1 cup water
a sprinkle of coconut as a topping
- Add all ingredients except coconut to your high speed blender
- Pour in your favorite glass
