Hello, everyone! I am so excited to present the first smoothie of 2017! This smoothie is so simple to make and is undoubtedly smooth in texture. The reason this tastes thick and fruity is that I added a sliver of avocado and just the right amount of ice. If you are worried about the extra fat from the avocado, I will break down solid health facts why you should add the yummy fruit in your smoothie. 1. Avocado is a monounsaturated fat, which is a good fat which can lower bad cholesterol.
2. Avocado has potassium which can reduce blood pressure.
3. Avocados are low in sugar. Super sweet!!
4. Avocados have fiber which can fill you up in between meals.
5 Avocados have 20 vitamins and minerals.

1/2 cup almond milk
1 banana sliced – Ripe for more sweetness
1 cup frozen Strawberries
4 ice cubes
1 sliver of avocado
Add all of the above ingredients in a high-speed blender and hit the power switch. Blend until a smooth and glorious texture.
Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!!
